Jeremy Brett on Audio Recordings

King Richard III, 1960
by William Shakespeare
Role: Earl of Clarence

Reader comment at Amazon.com about the audiobook: For once, the part [Earl of Clarence] is done right. Brett comes off as believable, not as a whiny brat as in many portrayals.

Another comment: Robert Stephens is the wicked King Richard in a deliciously "over the top" performance. This is the *unabridged* play, on three cassettes and clocking in at approximately four hours!
